Euphonic feat. Lisa Abbot - Far & Away
Euphonic (aka Marcos) is back with his mesmerising blend of uplifting and driving trance. Marcos has already proved himself as an established producer, with numerous classics already under his belt; last year’s trance bomb (and soon to be re-released) ‘Sahara’ and the Marco V favourite ‘Time’. Recently his 90 Degrees North signed ‘Nightmare Theme’ has been sending shivers through clubland and his heady ‘Night Finder’ collaboration with JK Walker is set for imminent release.
Following up ‘Sahara’ under his Euphonic project comes the vocal trance number ‘Far & Away’. It’s talented songstress, Lisa Abbot, who joins Marcos on his latest anthem, with a Euphonic Dub mix and Alphazone rendition to boot.
Alphazone are German duo Alex Zwarg and Arne Reichelt. They exploded on the scene last year with hard interpretations of Ian van Dahl ‘Try’, BK ‘Revolution’ Saltwater ‘The Legacy’ and more recently Kira ‘I’ll Be Your Angel’. All their trademark attributes are abundant in their ‘Far & Away’ rerub. A warping b-line and a series of soaring crescendos splice seamlessly with the touching lyrics of Lisa Abbot. Huuuuuuge!
Marcos’ Euphonic Dub meanwhile sends you on an atmospheric journey through spine-tingly trance. A tribal intro is soon surpassed by waves of euphoric trance and the occasional vocal sweeping “Far and away…”. The break propels the mix to new heights, as the track title implies, before the dub draws to a subtle close. It’s sensational to say the least!
Marcos fails to disappoint (again!). This is vital vinyl!
Trance.nu will be interviewing Marcos in the coming weeks. Keep those eyes peeled!
