Labworks - Ibiza Sunrise

The summer is here and all the flights to Ibiza are filled with clubbers looking for that special beach party they’ve longed for since last summer. And to have that special moment you need that extra sparkle, that magical tune. Hold your horses and check this out, cause it could very well be Labworks’ ‘Ibiza Sunrise’, out on Finnish EMT Design.

This summer anthem produced by two Swedish fellows out of Gothenburg couldn’t have been released more appropriate. The vocalist really seems to long for warm Ibiza beaches, wicked parties and all that comes with it. And the few catchy words that leave her mouth supported by the warm strokes of sound in the background actually do the trick. The most impressive remix comes from Hungarian Shane 54 who together with Pink Flood has played his keys right and hit the nut right where it hurts. With their laid back, but still uplifting, rework of the original they light up the A-side of this release.

The four-track vinyl also include a German hard trance minded ‘Radio Mix’, the more plain ‘The Scarab Remix’ and a total downtemped and deep rip-up and reworked version labelled ‘Fluid In Motion Remix’.

Word’s out that some British people already have sniffed up this release and are about to give it serious support this summer. No matter if you’re home in your dull backyard slacking or if somewhere more exotic just finishing of a 10-shot tequila race you’ll know when you hear this beauty coming at you. It’ll have “Ibiza Sunrise” written all over the place, even though it’s 2 PM.

Tracklist:
A1. Pink Flood vs. Shane 54 Monster Remix
A2. Radio Mix
B1. The Scarab Remix
B2. Fluid In Motion Remix
