After the world-wide success of Armin’s third artist album ‘Imagine’, the aptly named ‘Imagine – The Remixes’ is released on Armada this February with a list of producers on remix duty enough to get even the most hardened music fan’s knickers in a twist.

Imagine was released in April last year and tracks like ‘Going Wrong’, ‘ In & Out Of Love’ and ‘Unforgivable’ helped Armin keep the likes of Duffy and Amy Winehouse from the #1 Dutch album chart slot. Such was the response to his work that the concept of ‘Imagine – The Remixes’ was born.

Armin personally asked some of the best and upcoming producers to give their own take on the album tracks. Hungarian talents Myon & Shane 54 turn ‘Never Say Never’ into a deep, warm vocal track, while John O’Callaghan peak times “Hold On To Me’. First State add a playful, emotional flavour to ‘Unforgivable’ and Martin Roth smashes around with ‘Face 2 Face’, giving it all in his trancey, banging remix. Other remixes come from Paul Miller, The Blizzard, Thomas Bronzwaer, Sied van Riel, Ohmna and Cosmic Gate.

Special extras include exclusive artwork from number one fashion photographer Carli Hermès. Carli accompanied Armin on a recent trip to Jakarta, documenting 24 hours with the world’s #1 DJ. The intimate selection of resulting shots is included in the album, making it a true collector’s edition.
