ATB & Funkstar de Luxe started me off in the late 90's, then I found my own sound. Though I do presently despise Tijs and all he represents, I have a great deal of respect for his past work. And if it wasnt for him I would have never heard Fred Baker's masterpiece (my opinion) "Confirmation"which to this day is without doubt my fav tune of all time, though I still believe the best six minutes you can spend is listening to "Morning Drive" by Mike Shiver, a track that I find oh so beautiful in every way and for me best represents the true beauty of trance.
as for moi...a 21 yr old law student who attends a school famous for its shooting in 2006 in Montreal. I live in suburbia where hip hop and punk music reign heavy, and the friends I have are mainstream clubbers who think that afterhours are places you do drugs and must have a needle in your arm to get in to, but the people I do go with do it better than anyone.
my username lyon810 comes from my everlasting first love for my football club and now 6 times consecutive French Ligue 1 champs Olympique Lyonnais (Lyon, France....which is where my family is from) dont ask where the 810 came from
finally, I never understood why people mix drugs and trance, I cant imagine a more enhancing experience than Trance music, drugs make you get away, but why run away from something so utterly unique and beautiful?
