hi!i have sort of dilemma at the moment - gonna buy a mbp soon for running logic pro 9 in particular and music production in general.can the 15" 2,4Ghz i5 cpu 320Gb be really enough to run it smooth or it is pretty much better if i get the one with i7 2,66Ghz 500Gb?

i5 is quick. Should be enough for most things, but of course the i7 is quicker. It's all down to your budget.

yeah,of course, the budget, but really if there's a quite visible difference in use i5 and i7 while running logic studio, then i'd better save up some more....

get a 15" macbook pro.

has the i5 jesper was talking about, options for faster hard drive (audio needs a 7200rpm speed drive)
firewire 400 and afew more usbs

also options for gloosy or antiglare screen with a shitload more pixels...is nice *borat voice*

The 2.4 i5 will easily deal with it all mate but one thing that is definitely worth the investment is specing the harddrive up to 7200rpm
