About W&W, it's a good remark but also a little bit narrow mind as you are looking to the current status and I do look beyond that. I see talent, but these guys are still very young and they need to develop themselves. I have faith they can manage as they are very talented.

Well I don't really see the talent.

Mustang was in my opinion just another Joop-The Future. Dome and Intercity were really similar to Mustang, also production wise. Just listen to the percussions. Its kinda the same in all those tracks, fuck even the key of those tracks are all the same, aswell as the BPM.

Arena then, was their only nice and original fresh tune.

Mainstage was a copy of Marcel Woods-Inside Me
System Overload had this stupid Patterson-bassline climax. (and the vec samples sucked anyway)
D.N.A. was just another Mainstage.

They have cool tunes for sure, but some people talk about W&W like they will be the new next big thing or something. Not gonna happen!

Now on Soundcloud: Rank 1 - LED There Be Light (Magnetic Vision 'Alternative' Fix) http://soundcloud.com/magnetic-1

You know what, that correlation just blew my mind.

Do you know where your teenager is at 5 O'Clock in the morning? The Afterhours club. The clubs attracts thousands of Chicago area young people. Some say, they come looking for drugs, dirty dancing and pounding techno music.

Sounds kinda weak. Maybe I need to hear it a few times to appreciate it. puh

It's different compared what we are used to, but that doesn't say anything about the quality. It's a great track, that's what it is. Unique.
I appreciate those trance producers do seek another path and don't follow the patch everybody does..Sander is a great example...he does show his multiskills and creates new trance roads.

I meant that the melody lacks creativity and it just doesn't grab me.. The samples and the bassline sound all clear. That's not the problem here.

I also like diversity and new things, but this isn't one of them. wink
Btw, this doesn't even sounds that different compared to his productions from 2005.

It's relatively good, but what prevents you from using a normal kick and normal clap as peculiar to Trance, instead of this minimalistic trendy nonsense?

It's a catch-22 with using the new school sounds. If he would use the oldschool approach, then certain people would bash him for being generic and boring, if he uses modern sounds then he does not please the more conservative audience. It's the same with many other artists, and it can also be seen in this forum, where in one thread people are expressing their wish of old artists making a comeback, and when one does make a return, then he usually gets the crap bashed out of him for being too generic in another thread. (Like with Push in 2008 and Midway in 2009.)

PS. The track itself is quite nice, but nothing over the top special.

Sander van Doorn = win

People weren't ready for Supernaturalistic but it had a bunch of great songs

King of My Castle , Close My Eyes , Bastillon , Renegade , Reach Out , Apple , Back By Any Demand , Riff and now this ..and I could go oooon and on . I don't follow him as a DJ anymore and he also somehow dissapointed me at Trance Energy . I mean when I saw him in 2008 he was pumpin it so dark and raw . I mean he even played a slower version of Megamind - Taub ffs !

I like the track just how it is it doesn't need 145 bpm to be good .

Who here appreciates how good 'Purple Haze - Adrenaline' was??

That goes down as one of my favourite tunes in a bunch of 30.

It is so well crafted and has such a minor mood..

Why this track sounds so familiar to me? Is this Sander's original? I think I've heard it before and in another genre than trance
