You know, the kind of pure american culture you can see now only on movies and on rare occasions in real life. Rock and country music, bars with Marlboro men and white trash chicks inside, muscle cars...
Now the hispanic and black people brought rap music, raggaeton or whatever thats called and huge white basketball t-shirts. And europeans brought culture and a different lifestyle. Its not the same. I wish I was born in the 60's

Isn't he expressing grief over what he thinks is a cultural REDUCTION? And what the hell does the kkk have to do with it?

I'm just not understanding the nature of the responses. They don't make any sense to me.

I would say diversity is a step towards enriching a culture

the kkk were/are an extremely xenophobic group, expressing views similar to LynyrdSkynyrd. Also look up his name on wiki

First of all I just want to experience those times I never had the chance to. And dont associate LS with KKK or racism. I love black people and hispanic people, they mix good in the melting pot society of Texas. But I dislike their music. And since it is now mainstream music, there is not enough southern rock and country fuzz.

That's fine, but it's just an opinion. There's nothing really better about diversity than non-diversity -- it's just different. Not exactly sure how you're using the term anyway. There has always been great diversity in american culture.

Even so, all he was complaining about was a certain idea of something that is dying/going away. Personally, I wouldn't find any of those particular aspects of american culture he mentioned very appealing.

Do you honestly think I don't know what the kkk is? It just makes no sense to even bring them up.

...In any event, I would argue this guy is a troll but I could be wrong.

Or which culture is willing to voluntarily die in favor of another one?
