...for every move they make.

If you indeed feel sorry, why say/do/make it?

Typical situation:

a lecture-long letter or message with some good reasoning and other respectable stuff. And then *BANG!* finished with something like "I'm awfully sorry to/for... 1) talking about this... 2) mentioning this and this 3) for wasting your time...". You haven't yet done anything wrong! You only revealed your personality by one bit. With your speech and views you showed who you are. Why are you sorry?!

Being/feeling sorry for your own vision on things, for your own opinion or anything else that belongs to you literally says that you distance from it -> decline it -> don't respect it and simply don't respect yourself.

So, for goodness sake, don't be!!

I'm sorry for creating this thread, I'm very afraid I disturbed you.

P.S. Of course I'm not. I did all of it on my own initiative.

I drove with 200 km per hour over the road and crashed, everyone in the car besides me died.. . .

But I'm not sorry, cause I respect reckless driving

Because sometimes you say/do/make things you afterward may feel sorry about? Reason #1 would probably be Alcohol. I (and probably lots of other ppl) always say: 'If you can't handle it, don't drink it.' but it can still happen.

I remember when I had a girlfriend I said something veerrryyy wrong during a 'fight' (not gonna say what). Afterwards I don't know why I said it, it just slipped out. I felt sorry about it and (obviously) tried everything to let her know I felt sorry about saying it.. . . .including saying sorry (at least 200 times).

if that would mean I distance from it -> decline it -> don't respect it and simply don't respect myself. than sure happy sometimes it's better to feel sorry for something you said/did/made.

Of course you could never say sorry, but good luck keeping friends with that attitude.

then again, there's (kinda like you said) ppl who first say horrible things and then just say 'I'm sorry' to save their asses (most probably without actually being sorry).

P.S. I'm sorry for the long tekst unhappy

i think he's more talking about people that write comments and then say that they're sorry for the way they think..

what i also hate is when people send a long ass email to you and start with hi, i don't want to waste your time, BUT... [long fucking ass wall of text about some ordinary thing they think is important for me to be aware off, but allready know for a while]. if you don't want to, then for fucks sake DON'T!!

I really am not sorry for anything because I think before I do something as not to be sorry afterwards.

the thing is... they're not really sorry! they're just begging you for your sympathy by saying that, they just want your approval, that's all!
