not to be a party pooper or anything, but "serious" collabing rarely works out "properly" over internet. Diffrent equipment, "skill" level and just a matter of taste usually makes it really difficult to achive anything.

just saying ! puh

Ableton Live, I live in DC / Minneapolis.

I've only recently moved from electro to trance, but would love a production partner. Here's my one track I've come closed to finishing! : http://soundcloud.com/mcelwai1

Name: Jon Laprevote
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Style: Progressive Trance, Tech-Trance, Upligting Trance, Vocal Trance/Progressive Trance.
DAW: Logic Pro 8 (Mac obviously)
Plugs: Korg Legacy digital + analog, Massive, FM8, Predator, Discovery, Vanguard, Bassline, Surge + more.

IMO Trance in the recent years has started to sound a bit bleak and the roughness isn't really there anymore. I love grovy, techy percussion packs and hard basses blended with atmospheric pads and melodies. I want to create a signature soundscape combining these elements.

I was active as producer & DJ in the mid 90's-early 2000's before I left it on the shelf to do other stuff. In that period I had several releases out.

In the last year I've started to produce again. Looking for collabs with other ambitious producers.

Contact me via www.soundcloud.com/jonlaprevote

Cheers

while true, don't lose hope! tritonal met over a message board, and after a year of going back and forth via the internet, they finally moved close to one another and the rest is history.

Hey what's up all?

I've been producing for a few weeks now with Reason. I try to spend a few hours working on tracks every day, so I've improved much.

I'm on EST in Ohio.

I'm interesting in producing any kind of trance - but mostly progressive, uplifting, and balaeric

Some of the stuff I've worked on can be found at:

I haven't been on this forum for a while, but been working heavily on productions, so I decided to stop by and look for some tips. I see this topic and think it's a great idea.
