Wow, didn't realize my list was worth talking about in a negative sense. As stated before, I know these tracks are cheese and not the greatest. I acknowledge that, but those are tracks that I was first introduced to and as my taste for trance has vastly changed, there are tracks that will stand out for me as well as anyone else that may not be the greatest but really does it matter?

The thing is that complete 1 release from your list is written correctly. All of those tracks aren't even from right artists.

Snap - Rhythm Is A Dancer

I remember the first time i heard this tune. At my mates house when i was ten playing on his megadrive with his older brother playing this on tape! I must have heard it over a thousand times and it still sounds awesome. Really got me into dance music.

The KLF - 3am Eternal

Still play this tune, especially good when at the gym. An absolute monster of a track, full of energy, awesome crowd noise samples and a ridiculous ending!

2unlimited - No Limit

I know its cheesy but it was huge back in the day. They had some prolific success and i still love their albums; get ready, no limits and real things. The single No One is one of my all time favourites. Saw the female singer Anita live at my uni a couple of years back and she didnt disappoint.

William Orbit - Barbers Adagio For Stings (Ferry Costen Mix)

Really got me into the trance genre and a gorgeous piece of music. Everything about this tune is perfect. I remember the first time i heard it in my dads car on the radio. Awesome!

Dumonde - God Music

I love these guys. Flew all the way to switzerland to see them live before they retired. Massive euphoric trance. This tune just takes me away, as trance should.

Alright, well these would be my 5, as these were essentially the first trance songs that I heard, although some of them I heard years apart. To this date, I credit these songs with moving me into the trance slot.

Schiller - Das Glockenspiel
Solarstone - Solarcoaster (Midway Mix)
Cape Town - Cinema
Octagen & Arizona - Starburst
Alt+F4 - Alt+F4

Liquid Child - Diving Faces
Human Traffic & Cream Anthems 2000... & so my love affair with Trance (& chemicals) was born

As The Rush Comes - Motorcycle (TiŽsto Remix)
I was completely out of it & sitting in the garden at a house party years ago. I spotted this star in the sky & was convinced it was a UFO. Proper freaked me out at the time but I cudnít take my eyes off it & just remember this song playing in the background

Lost Witness feat. Tiff Lacey- Home (Mike Shiver Remix)
One of the best remixes I think Iíve ever heard... uplift.com

Above & Beyond - No one on Earth (Gabriel & Dresden Remix)
This just reminds me of being totally messed up. Proper deep & dark track that takes me away whenever I hear it

Sunlounger Feat. Zara - Lost (Club Mix)
Lyrics are unbelievable. Couldnít stop listening to this when I first heard it. I'd admittedly lost touch with Trance music for a while but this tune reminded me why I love it so much

Actually, I could write here. This is not going to be pretty though:

1. Oasis - Be Here Now (album)
First album I have ever bought. Is worse than previous two when thinking now but this has nostalgic value. D'You Know What I Mean? Actually sounds pretty tasty.

2. Darude - Sandstorm
Yeah, like anyone could have miss this especially in Finland. But either way, this was my first contact with trance. Before The Storm-album especially had couple of pure trance-tracks I didn't enjoy back then because they were long and repeative lol

3. Scooter - How Much Is The Fish? / No Fate
LOL! Scooter! Well everyone has to start somewhere. I was huge Scooter-fan in teenage years and of course it has very important role. Most of the tracks I listen from them now are complete bollocks but they have some goodies too (Rhapsody In E, Stuttgart!). And Scooter marked my choice to start listening electronic music.

4. Paul van Dyk - Crush
This could be just easily any other PvD-track released at the time, or TiŽsto-track or Blank & Jones. But around this time I noticed that this is style I like the most. Yes it is very cheesy version of trance but there was something I liked and then I went to records shop and bought Reflections (and Just Be). This showed my choice to start listening trance. And soon after this I listened ASOT for the first time...

5. The Digital Blonde - Synthology (album)
What's so special about this one? I could say that it changed all. Before this I was listening mostly "ASOT-trance" with the exception of couple popular finns called Orkidea and Miika Kuisma. But this record with the tracks like Requia, Cyan and Tronika opened my eyes that there is something else too. The Digital Blonde is just maybe more undergroundish version of trance but it made me look for all kinds of stuff and teached to stay open-minded. Few years after that I'm enjoying all kinds of music: trance, house, techno, ambient, breakbeat, progressive rock etc and I'm proud of it.
