Hi everyone!
Please don't get me wrong, but isn't that a little bit too much Armin-advertising on a "neutral" trance-website? Especially Armin in the logo is a bit... well... strange.
I know of course, admins of such great websites always have problems to finance their sites.
I hope you don't get me wrong, I really don't want to critisize in a negative way, but I would really much appreciate, if Armin could be removed from the Tnu logo, at least. It looks a little bit too much, as if Armin owns that site.

What do you all think?

i agree completely brother.
all this hype and advertising does get your name out, but it's at a point where it's really annoying seeing Armin's face plastered all over the place when you just want to listen to dance music. we saw something similar to this with Tiesto and look where that brought him; an unfavorable to the listeners of trance.

It's going down tonight anyways, the idea was just to play a little prank on the site, something alongside an easter-egg. You're not alone in your thoughts and i do wish to apologize if anyone is a offended by it. And for the people wondering how much armin paid, it was never about any money.

The idea was to create a laugh, nothing else happy

While I think it's good PR for the site to host the ASOT FF voting, I do find that the Armin (and to a certain extent TiŽsto) bias makes the site less "open". That said, the site is quite Dutch trance oriented.

Yeah, it's the downside of having dutch-loving reviewers wink

I'm more than happy to see some progressive/deep/housy trance lovers apply for the reviewer-spots, it'll add a lot more diversity to the site.

However, the fact that Trance.nu gets support from DJs like AvB helps to show the prestige of the whole website and how serious it really is.

Would you publish a prog house track review if I managed to be sober one night and write something? or does it have to be strictly trance related, since it's trance.nu after all?

Of course, contact me via PMs and we'll talk about it.

unfortunetly i think it's things like this, that keep a lot of the hardcore trance fans out of this site. as most of them already think this site is nothing but uneducated armin and tiesto fanboys.
