I posted this in another topic, but just in case you missed it, here it is again.

Samples needed
VEC2 Bassdrum UK Tran4EB8
VEC2 Bassdrum UK Tran4E8A
VEC1 BD Sub 01
VEC1 Cymbals CH22

Layer all of them in the same drum machine, with the following settings:
VEC2 Bassdrum UK Tran4EB8: Gain 88, Lenght 68%
VEC2 Bassdrum UK Tran4E8A: Gain 48
VEC1 BD Sub 01: Gain 14, Lenght 8-9%
VEC1 Cymbals CH22: Gain 64, Lenght 72%, Pitched down 3 semitones

EQ1
Boost around 7db at 480 Hz
Boost around 4db at 2700 Hz
Cut down around 5db of the high end

EQ2
Load an instance of Waves Q8 Paragraphic EQ and use the following settings:
1: Freq 804 Hz, Q 1, Gain +0,9
2: Freq 112 Hz, Q 5, Gain -1,3
3: Freq 448 Hz, Q 1,1, Gain -0,6
4: Freq 1000 Hz, Q 1, Gain +3,2
5: Freq 4000 Hz, Q 1, Gain -1,3
6: Freq 7000 Hz, Q 1, Gain -0,9
7: Freq 2100 Hz, Q 1, Gain +6,5
8: Freq 200 Hz, Q 1, Gain +2 (for the ones that like Low-Mids, as Maarten suggested)

If necesary, you can add an instance of Waves RBass on top with the following settings:
Intensity: 3,2
Frequency: 55-60Hz
Gain: -2

This should basically do it, but you can play around with the settings.
Hope it help everyone around here that have been trying to get this sound.

And here is a wav with a kick like that:

Julien, the kick in your player lacks 150 - 250 Hz. It's too clicky/subby

Thats how I like them, but it's just a matter of taste.

That can easily be done by turning 8 on and boosting around 1,5-2db at 200hz.

isn't it a bit lame that your tutorial has vengeance samples as the source sample? i mean most of them are ripped from trance releases (also discover releases)

step by step tutorial would be creating the kick with waveform or possibly using common drum machine kicks..

besides discover and anjuna kicks are complete mood killers for me, why on earth does everyone wanna sound like every other producer?

Lots of people have been asking how to make this, I just told them how to make it the fastest and easiest way, with the samples almost everyone has.

I would never waste my time creating a kick from scratch, hence the quick know-how on this particular kick.

The point isn't to make a specific kind of kick, but giving an example of layering put to use.

With that said, I think it's kind of sad that a certain kind of kick drum can represent a label puh
