We have Dynaudio bm6a mk2. Love them!
Just before we had the Alesis One mk2, what a difference (in sound and in price).

Has anyone ever upgraded from the same model of speakers, but from 6"woofer to 8"woofer?

I'm considering upgrading from RP6G2's to RP8G2's.

Apart from the extended bass, can anyone give feedback any benefits from upgrading to a larger woofer?

Don't have a pair yet..
I was thinking about the Behringer Truth series, the Alesis One MK2, or the Mackies MR5.

I don't have a high budget, so what do you recommend?

From the ones you mentioned, I would go for the Alesis. Maybe check for KRK Rokit also or Yamaha HS Series.

Personally I have Samson Resolv 80a since 6 years. For a future studio update, I might also go for the Yamaha HS80.

I've a pretty small budget and have only been produceing 2 years so cant really jusify spending much money. I do however have two sets of monitors

i have a pair of m-audio bx5a which i had bought for my production speakers but found them really bright and my mixes sucked on them, so now i use them for my decks

Production wise i use a old pair of behringer B2031's i got second hand off ebay. Love them to bits even though the model is like 10 years old

I've Krk VXT6's, very pleased with them, my projects transfer very well from these speakers to headphones, computer speakers, large soundsystems. You can mix confidently with them.

Adam A7's are good but I think they are better for producing live music as they don't have a great response on the bottom end freqs.
