Thanks. I think that could work quite well happy

And regarding this thread: it could be a rule that you have to comment on the track last posted if you're posting a track yourself. That way, everyone gets feedback. You could of course comment more than that one track though.

Yeah, i think that's a pretty good idea.
also, c'mon guys, the whole idea was that you post something of your own AND comment on someone elses.
I would but the site that most of you guys are hosting on isn't working on my computer. And um thanks for the advice. Making the bassline is always the hardest part for me for some reason.

I think this track has potential, it reminds me of Gabriel & Dresden's style. I have often thought of making one of these tracks which are almost all drums, percussion and some sick baseline, then you bring in your nice little guitar riff just for a few bars, and then it all goes dark again. (maybe not your style, but a possibility)

Oh and my other idea was a nice female vocal singing some upbeat stuff, Do u know any vocalists ?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's something I've been working on, I'm a bit stuck after the break

What do you think ?

Here's a melodic trancer that I started working on about a year ago. I had done about 3 minutes of it before i lost the project file during a hard drive crash.

At least it taught me to always save my work elsewhere happy

Here's the link:

Think i should wake a sleeping giant?

Enjoy happy

Sounds okay, a bit muddy, maybe due to the reverb. Cut it down a bit to help the sounds sound more distinct. On the other hand, it's maybe that 'airy' feeling your aiming for?

Here's a little melody I've been working on, which I made into a break. Most likely the break for an energetic trancer that I perhaps may finish... hehe...

don't like the drums in there tbh, too repetitive for me. the melody's nice but it is a bit on the cheesy side. cool guitar sound

Here's where my efforts have been leading me over the past few days. It has muted guitars, a smooth lead and subtle pads and bass.

I will probably be writing some lyrics for it, and im reasonably happy with the mix at this stage, so I think I'll be concentrating on the musical aspect of things over th next few days.

I'm not happy with the lead, that needs work to get it sitting right, but as I said its hard to do anything atm without any vocals.

track: Outlook - No sign of life

thanks for listening, enjoy.

Here is what i am working on right now, some of the sounds [like the lead sound] are not absolute and will most likely change, this clip is a part of the climax of the track, and an earler version is posted elsewhere on the forums.

http://www.soundclick.com/util/downloadSong.cfm?ID=5297205&key=024276BF-2

btw, i was just schooled in the arts of somewhat mastering..hows the mix sound?

if first link don't work, click this one: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=543223 and click hifi stream or download.

Song is called 'Bernun'

Outlook: I think that sounds pretty good, but it needs some beefier stuff. Something that sublimely says "fuck yeah, this is the shit!" puh

Crono: Sounds ok to me, but the lead sounds too basic imo. And some background details would sound pretty nice. Other than that, I kind of like it happy
