It's been a while since my last post here, but think it is time for an update.

Please send COMPLETE VERSIONS of your demos.
There is nothing more irritating than listening to a short clip, or a "broken" mp3 and having to write back, ask for a flawless mp3, wait 2 more days to receive it and so on... Just a waste of time. Also, sending crippled mp3s shows a lack of trust towards the label! You really think we want to steal your music? Come on!

Use immediate links, such as yousendit or sendspace. Avoid rapidshare and all the others that make you wait 1min or so before you can download. I am often tempted to close the window and move on to the next demo.

Tag your mp3s!!! This is important! Sometimes I find an mp3 which sounds good and I don't know who the producer is because there is no information attached to it.
Always write your email either in the mp3 tags or in the filename.

Don't do mastering of your tracks if you are not confident and experienced enough!
I often get tracks with potential, but let down by bad mastering. It is better to send a quiet but balanced mix than a loud mess. We can offer mastering for you if you need it, and this is often a better option.

Hope this helps!
Have fun and send your tunes to:

short bio?
Well for starters write your name, where do you live and how many years old are you. Just to give some basic info to the label, so they can at least know how to call you.

1 track is enough. If you want to sign 1 track.
If you want to send 2 tracks - just put them into a ZIP and send as one file (through yousendit or alike ofc)

Do I have to own the copyright before sending the demo to the labels?...and another question: are the labels willing to sign someone from the other side of the world or they are more likely to sign someone from the same country? Or maybe it doesn't matter where are you from?

If you have made the track yourself and havent used any uncleared samples or fl loops then it should be enough. And no it doesn't matter where you live.
