Hey guys I saw both today...noticed that the behringer is a little better...any recommendations ? experiences ? limitations ? I'm interested in buying a mixer and I saw the behringer in action...costs somewhere around 300 GBP without the CD racks...

any other Mixers I could buy ? heard that Pioneer is the best out there...

i heart my djm-600 & am FIENDING for the djm-800

the one beringer i have worked with (the rip-off of the djm-600) had very low levels & the vca's really didn't start to come into effect until they hit about 5, which didn't help for blending very much as it more punched in rather than gradually raised. it took some getting used to whereas the djm-600 was perfect right out of the box - for me, at least wink

I got the Djx 700. It's a fine mixer for me. The effects are rather poor but I don't use that many effects. happy

behringer djx 700, is a good choice for a cheap mixer, but the effects are poor, and the sound is not loud an clear.

The current quality of Behringer is very poor. They give problems real quick. Only the old Behringers are good, like the DX 1000 that was still made in Germany before they moved production to cheaper country's to produce them.
Don't do it, you are going to be sorry.

If i was to get a behr I would get the DDM4000.

Fiberoptics is the only way to go with behringer. Pretty much because all the other mixers will crap out on you. I have an older behr that has so many problems... the main two are that the mix-headphone knob bleeds like hell and the headphone jack is screwy.

go pioneer, its worth it thumbsup

dj behringer djx 700 sucks. I use it for mixing, and to be honest with my level of skill, i can let the quality slide because most of my mixing happens in my bedroom. But when I've played on djm 800s in clubs or jammed out on friends better mixers it's like night and day. seriously the quality, just as everyone else on this thread has expressed, is seriously lacking. for producing, i wouldn't recommend this to ANYONE.
