Not many people know this but trance.nu has a chat room on the irc network. This tutorial
on how to get on #trance.nu.

Server: efnet.demon.co.uk
Channel: #trance.nu
Tutorial
1. First things first. You will need to download an irc client (the program you
use to chat with). I recommend Mirc since it's the most commonly used on Windows,
but there are others for different platforms (ie mac, beos, unix, linux). this
tutorial will be based on Mirc however. You can download it from http://www.mirc.com .
2. After the installation you run the client and you will be greeted by a pop-up
with developers picture on it. You can close it to continue. The next dialogue
box is for registering your nick. Just follow the instructions.
3. You will be presented by a sub-window with a textbox at the bottom. don't worry
about that yet. What you need to do now is to connect to an irc server. Click
on the second button to the left, the one with a folder and a hammer. (The tooltip
is labeled "Options"). You should be on the branch labelled Connect and from there
chose a Dalnet server (it doesn't mater which). Click the "Connect to IRC Server"
button. (If it doesn't work just try another server).
4. Now you're connected. Now you need to join a channel; in our case #trance.nu.
Click on the third button to the left with the folder with the hash mark (#).
It's tool-tipped "Channels folder".
5. Write #trance.nu in the textbox at the top and click the "join" button. (You
can also click add first so it will be included to list.)
This should do the trick.
